Will the wheel return next year? If not ... why you didnt put if off your website Aards? Everytime I visit I wonder.
Good question. I'll probably pull the Wheel down sometime in the coming weeks.

Just a nitpick, but is there any way to make a video full screen on mobile? iOS 16.3.1 if that helps.
Write to Apple and ask them really nicely to be a normal tech company and to follow widely-adopted standards so that my web developer can add full-screen video support to iOS without having to pull his hair out trying to jump through Apple's arbitrary hoops.
Hey Aard, I guess this isn't really a question just a comment of appreciation. Not a lot of people would do something so effort intensive like this for free, especially something so scandalous as your work. I know a patreon donation or something is more useful to you, but I don't really have the money right now so I guess this will have to do. Keep on being awesome. ?(P.S. my favorite is the futashep visual novel, I hope you come back to it someday. I think you should put it in a more prominent place on the sight as even unfinished I think it's kind of a hidden gem.)
Au contraire! The words of appreciation really mean more to me as a person and as an artist. The financial support is always appreciated and I physically couldn't do this without it, but it's the appreciation that motivates me.
I really like the Futashep game as well, but it just became too unwieldy to continue working on. Too much work went into production, the narrative branches became too unwieldy, and the engine driving it all was too clunky to manage at scale. If I were to return to it, I would need to massively redesign it on both a technical level and a gameplay level.
Toward that end, I think it's better to leave it as it is than to lobotomize it and fundamentally alter its personality. It is what it is, and even if it isn't finished, I think it succeeded in what I wanted to do with it.
I'm taking the lessons learned and putting them toward a new project, but it is a long ways away before I am ready to say anything publicly about what that project is.
That's another lesson learned, actually - to not share until I have something of substance. The microreleases ended up being unintuitively more time-consuming and exhausting than larger releases. There was too much pressure to constantly be working and releasing things with the microrelease schedule. With the larger release schedule, I can take my time because people have the expectation of long waits.
Has the "DazV5 Developer Kit [Preview 2]" been shelved or is it still a WIP. I can understand if it is quite the project to make documentation for, especially if it includes workflows for other 3d model programs than what you are use to.
Frankly I forgot about it.
I'll put together a new DazV5.5 dev kit at some point. Need to find the time.
will you do another tales from the liziverse, or anything with elizabeth?
Yes.
any mass effect related stuff planned in the next works? I am going through a withdrawal, MeLord.
Nothing big.
Just, you know, Blue Star Episode 4.
It's next on the schedule, after Overbreed Episode 1. But that's still a ways away. At least a year before production begins. At least.
Hello LA. Is it possible to port your enhanced character meshes back into a game? Like Mass Effect. Thanks for your time.
Depends on the game and the tools available for it.
As a general rule though you need to adapt the model you want to import to the skeleton of the model you want to replace it with, so that it can use all of the in-game animations. None of my models are fit to any of those skeletons, so that'd be the first hurdle to overcome assuming there's even a way to do it.
I've seen replacement mods for Mass Effect Legendary Edition, though, such as one that replaced Sovereign with Thomas The Tank Engine. So it should at least be technically possible. But it wouldn't be a trivial effort.
Is the fix the same for 2P or is there an extra step?
She'll have aunique material names for the alternate skin, but I trust your ability to figure it out.
Is there a fix to 2B clipping through her gloves?
Use the DazV5-5 Bodygroup tool, in the Scripts menu along the top (assuming you installed everything as packaged). It'll have two listboxes, on the left you select what model (2B in this case) you want to affect. On the right will be a list of materials for the selected model, with checkboxes. Uncheck the hands and fingernails.
How do i get into sfm and animate like you do
You can find Source Filmmaker on the Steam Store page, it's a free download. There's plenty of tutorials online, I personally recommend Zachariah Scott, Jimer Lins, and Harry101UK as good sources of tutorials on YouTube. The Steam Workshop has tons of assets to work with, and for lewd varieties you have sites like SFMLab as well as artists' personal sites, such as my own.
I wish you the best of luck, and my only advice is to expect things to be slow. You're going to struggle at first to make work you're happy with. Don't let that demotivate you - let it inspire you.
