Micro Videos, Big Plans: 2026, 2027, and Beyond

Hello, everyone!

It has been about a year since the last blog post, and so I figured it only fair to update everyone on how things have been, how things are going, and where we're going from there.

The last blog post, The Death of the Short Video, discussed exactly that. It detailed how the original plan for making short videos had gotten completely derailed, and how the original idea of spending 1 month focusing on making a short video, and then 1 month focusing on the main video project, simply wasn't working anymore. The "short" videos had gotten longer, both in runtime (surpassing some "full" videos released in the past), and in production time (sometimes taking nearly half a year of focused production).

That blog post ended with a discussion of Micro videos, describing both the premise behind their construction (made in a day, finished in a week, 1-to-3 minute runtime) and their place in my production schedule (1-2 hours a day, with the rest of the day available for other things, including the main projects). I also provided drafts of 8 Micro videos for people to get an idea of what I was going for.
