PornHub Purge - Where Do We Go From Here?

Hello, everyone.

I last jested that it'd be another 14 months until the next blog post. I was hoping it'd be much sooner than that. I'm just disappointed that it's under these circumstances.

As you may or may not be aware, over the past few weeks, PornHub has been embroiled in a PR disaster after a piece came out alleging that PornHub has been hosting and refusing to delete child pornography, unconsenting revenge porn, and recordings of rape. In light of these allegations, MasterCard and Visa publicly severed ties with PornHub, no longer serving their premium subscription model. In response, PornHub shut down uploading videos without account verification - a process which requires sending in a photo of your face to MindGeek.

And then, a few hours ago, they went completely nuclear, and completely deleted any and all videos from anyone who wasn't verified. And yes, that includes me. All of my videos are gone, as well as (strangely) my avatar and account banner.

So what now?
