Outfits are character, standard, and version-specific.

DazV5 Curvy works with DazV5 Curvy. If they're not DazV5 and they're not Curvy, they won't work.

Non-Curvy (and non-DOAFantasy, the other standard) outfits will not work with anyone other than the character they were made for. DazV5 outfits will not work on DazV4 or earlier characters, and DazV4 or earlier outfits will not work on DazV5 characters.
