To Breed & Bond: A Postmortem
Hello everyone.
This is part 1 of a blogging double-header. This post is focused entirely on the recently-released video To Breed & Bond, as a postmortem. You can click here to read the other post, which is focused on my plans for the immediate future.
In my last blog post, I detailed my production cycle. In it, I noted how I spend a month working on a short video, then a month working on the active large project (currently Overbreed Episode 1), and then alternate between the two. I also spent a fair bit of time discussing the Frozen project, how it fits outside the time schedule, and what my plans for it were. A big focus on that post was that my goal is to have a new video out every 3 months.
I then immediately proceeded to spend 5 months working on just the “short” video, the just-released To Breed & Bond.
Let’s talk about that. As always, make some popcorn, get a drink, and strap in. If you decide to ride this out, then you’re in it for the long haul on this post.
We’ll start this postmortem off with a simple enough question: What the hell happened?
